The Trent-Severn Waterway spans 386km from Lake Ontario at Trenton to Georgian Bay at Port Severn. The canal, which was completed in 1920, features 44 locks of which 5 are in the Kawartha Lakes. Known to be a popular fishing destination, the Trent-Severn Waterway frequents walleye, pike, muskie, bass, crappie, yellow perch and trout.
